This is like a little heart-skip for me! I’ve been getting questions for YEARS about when I’m opening these up again and I’m finally in the place where it feels like one of my highest excitements once again!
Commissions to me are a unique & magical space that you and I build, where you bring the subject, idea, and/or feeling and then lay it in my hands to interpret and channel. Through the entire process you have a hand in the progression of the piece and are able to give feedback at different parts of the painting’s journey, so it’s truly a collaboration or a “co-mission”!
An average Commission process looks like this:

I contact you and if its a project I vibe with, we will discuss the amazing vision in depth on a phone call or through voice messages, we will also discuss the price and time that it will probably take me to complete.
I collect all the details and make a preliminary sketch an send it to you for approval (this is a rough sketch just to bring more depth to the vision and anchor it in.)
After the approval I will send an invoice for 50% of the overall cost of the Commission
I will get started! You will receive photos and updates throughout with the ability to give me feedback through the whole process. I will also be documenting the process of your piece on social media!
When the piece is finished I will send you a final photo and once approve and say you absolutely adore it, I’ll send the next half of the payment.
Once I receive payment, I’ll ship the painting to its new home!
My goal with commissions is to create pieces of art that are cherished and last for lifetimes and lifetimes. I use my decades of experience and only the best professional materials to anchor in your vision!
